When we say we don’t cut corners, we mean it. A lot of units get placed on pads that shift, tilt, and sink over the years, especially on a tricky slope like this one.
To make sure this unit stays perfectly level for years to come, our team built a custom, double-stacked pressure-treated lumber base and packed and surrounded it with gravel.
Why do we take the extra time to do this?
Zero Shifting: The heavy-duty timber frame locks the foundation into the hillside.
Relieves Line Strain: It stops the unit from shifting and putting dangerous tension on the refrigerant lines.
Defeats Erosion: The gravel ensures proper drainage so rainwater doesn't wash out the hill underneath the system.
