Hard freeze coming our way! -

Greetings, the National Weather Service is predicting a very hard freeze coming Thursday afternoon with temps dropping precipitously and staying well below freezing through Saturday.

Starting a brand new home for Morgan Moore Construction @ 443 Glenchester, 77079. Will be on MLS within the next few weeks. Perfect backyard for a swimming pool!

We'll be installing drainage, sprinklers, grass, and landscaping.

Arial view of the playground/park from atop the existing play structure. The crushed granite trail is near completion as well as the pic nic area that's to the right of the large Oak.

We'll start placing the "boulder elements" today or tomorrow.

It's fun to watch the daily progress!

In the midst of demo. Despite the safety fencing surrounding the park and a bobcat breaker in action, mothers and their children decided they HAD to utilize the park yesterday! Amazing!

The national weather service is predicting overnight lows in the upper 20's. I recommend at a minimum wrapping your PVB (above ground sprinkler shut off) with an old towel etc. to keep it from freezing. Even better shut the system off with the two valve handles and open the two small test c***s to drain off the water then wrap with a towel.

Additionally cover any tender plants and those with new growth.

A quick progress report on the retaining walls. They are done and look great. The next step is to plant them out , the icing on the cake! Come back next week to see the final result.

This old house off Allen Parkway has serious erosion problems due to the steep slope of the front yard. We're going to create some terraced perrenial beds along the front to alleviate the erosion and beautify the home. ... stay tuned for the finished product coming at the end of July!
