610BF 5/4 RUSTIC R/S BLACK WALNUT BUNDLE: $1,750 + tax

Retail price is $5.75/BF, but if you buy the whole bundle - which comes to 610BF - you’ll get 50% OFF! That means, you’ll only pay $1,750 + tax for this entire bundle. That’s $2.87/BF

The Black Walnut has been professionally kiln dried. It is Rustic grade - meaning (and, as you can see in the photos) there are visible defects, such as cracks, voids, knots, etc. Being rough sawn (not surfaced) and 5/4, they are 1-3/8” thick right now. Lengths are mainly 8-10’ but there are a few shorter pieces in the mix. And widths are random.

You must purchase the whole bundle to get this price. Anything less than the whole stack and the full retail price of $5.75/BF will apply.

Sales tax is extra, but if you have a valid tax ID I will be able to waive that.

Pick up in Spring. Delivery is available, for an additional fee. But lumber must be paid in full before it leaves the yard.

BIG BATCH OF CUTTING BOARDS DONE!

A client ordered ten (10) edge grain cutting boards and five (5) serving trays with handles. They wanted the rustic look, with natural character.

I made these pieces with several combined species - Hard Maple, Curly Soft Maple, Ambrosia Maple, Pecan and Ash. They turned out beautifully, if I do say so myself.

The medium sized cutting boards are 11”W x 14”L x 1.25”T, and the large cutting boards measure 12”W x 18”L x 1.5”T.

The serving trays measure 8”W x 24”L x 0.75”T, and they’re made from two (2) pieces of wood, joined right in the middle of the board. Most people would prefer to use a wide plank for boards like this, and I can understand why, but sometimes you just have to use what you have. But with proper grain orientation, it makes for an amazing statement piece, and that is what I was able to accomplish here.

I recently added cutting boards to my website, and here I am batching out an order of 15. (My client ordered 15 but I made a couple extra. If she doesn’t take them when her batch is ready, they’ll go up on my site.)

My client here ordered 5 (11”W x 14”L x 1.25”T) and 5 (12”W x 18”L x 1.5”T) edge grain cutting boards and 5 (8”W x 24”L x 0.75”T) serving trays.

All my cutting boards will have a juice groove on one side.

I’m really liking how these are turning out.

If you purchase 100+BF of my 4/4 Rustic Black Walnut, which is milled S2S to 7/8” thick, and whose boards are 7-10’ long, I will take $1.00/BF off the retail ($4.75/BF) price. So you’ll get it for only $3.75/BF.

You must purchase no less than 100BF to get that price break.

I have enough 4/4 Walnut to make two (2) full bundles, each of which would have around 1,050BF. If you’ll purchase an entire bundle, you’ll get it for $2.75/BF.

I made hundreds and hundreds of domestic and exotic cutting board blanks. You can find them on my website. (My business is called Wood Flippers.)

The blanks I made are all the exact same dimensions: 0.75”T x 1.75”W x 24”L. (I will have other options available soon, but I wanted to start with the 4/4 stock.)

Shipping is available if inside the Continental United States. A box of 12 will likely start at about $15 for shipping, and a box can max at 24 pieces. I can likely ship a box of 24 blanks for approximately $25, give or take.

I will be adding other species as we go. I do not take custom orders (for sizes other than what I offer - see my website for the available dimensions), but I can take even very large order and have them ready for pick up or shipment in just a few days time, provided I have the material on hand.
