We don’t just drop pumpkins at the door.

We look at the house, the entrance, the colors and how it all needs to feel—then we build the installation around it.

Some are quiet and tonal. Some are full, layered and dramatic. Pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, seasonal plants and the extra details that make it feel finished. No two installations should look exactly the same.

This year, HAXEL pumpkin installations are open to everyone—not just our current clients.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of our dear friend, Thy Mitchell, who was also a client.

She was a light in every room — kind, driven, welcoming, and deeply supportive of the people around her. As the owner of two restaurants and a clothing line, she poured her heart into everything she built, and it showed through the community she created and the people who loved her. She was a devoted mother who loved her children deeply and worked tirelessly to create a beautiful life and future for them.

Over the years, our friendship has become a meaningful part of my life. We celebrated birthdays together, showed up for each other’s events, talked about our dreams, businesses, and life, and always encouraged one another along the way. She had a rare energy about her — the kind of person who made people feel seen, supported, and inspired just by being herself.

I am very proud of everything she created and the impact she had on so many lives. Houston lost a truly remarkable person far too soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, staff, and everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

From start to finish ✨
This backyard was originally designed and installed about 10 years ago, and with a big holiday party coming up, it was time for a refresh. We reworked the layout, extended and straightened planting beds, removed old elements, and brought in clean new lines throughout the space.
The transformation included fresh artificial turf with putting holes, updated gravel and flagstone walkways, new steel edging, brick borders, extended parking, new sod, refreshed planting beds, a fully painted fence, and even a stabilized treehouse ready for years of use.
A full-circle moment bringing new life into a well-loved backyard—just in time to celebrate 🌿🎉

This weekend, one of our Maintenance Foremen and his family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A horrific car accident took the lives of his cousin, his cousin’s wife, and their daughter. Their three-year-old son was the only survivor.
