🌟Team Member Monday!🌟This week, we're featuring Rocky Allen, a very talented Structural Estimator here at FRI Restoration! Rocky has been an invaluable part of our team for 5 1/2 years, bringing over 38 years of construction experience to every project he touches.

When he's not helping homeowners restore their properties, you can find Rocky enjoying the outdoors, spending time with his girlfriend at the beach, hiking, kayaking, or discovering new places to explore.⛱🛶🌄

A fun fact you may not know: Rocky has spent much of his adult life practicing martial arts and even won the Texas State Championship in 2002!🥋🏆

What he loves most about his work? Helping others during their time of need. Rocky shared that while restoration work may not always seem glamorous, it's incredibly rewarding to make a real difference for families that need it most.💪❤️

When he's not hard at work helping families and businesses recover from property damage, you can find Thomas spending quality time with his family, hunting, or fishing.🎣

A fun fact about Thomas: he's a talented cook with a serious passion for BBQ!🔥 He's even crafted his very own signature style and flavor.

Thomas says his favorite part of the job is bringing our customers back to their homes and helping them return to the routines of their everyday lives.

Know where your main water shut-off valve is. It can save you thousands in damage if a pipe bursts!

When a pipe breaks, water can pour out at gallons per minute, flooding floors, soaking walls, and ruining furniture, flooring, and even your foundation.
If you know how to quickly turn off your home or building’s main water supply, you can stop the damage in its tracks before it turns into a major restoration project.

💡 Pro Tip:
Find your main shut-off valve today (usually near the water meter, in the garage, or along the home’s perimeter). Make sure everyone in your household or staff knows where it is and how to turn it off in an emergency!

🌟Team Member Monday!🌟 Meet Luis Castillo, one of our incredible Senior Project Managers based out of our Houston headquarters! Luis is one of the first points of contact when a loss occurs - handling scoping, overseeing ongoing jobs, and writing estimates to make sure every project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Luis started at FRI Restoration four years ago as a technician, worked his way up to Lead, and now proudly serves as Senior Project manager in our Contents Department - a journey that truly reflects his dedication and leadership.

When he's not hard at work helping customers and ensuring jobs get done quickly and efficiently, you'll usually find Luis spending quality time with his family or out fishing. 🎣

We're proud to have Luis as a part of the FRI family and are grateful for the care and excellence he brings to every project! 🙌

Dealing with property damage is stressful, but filing your insurance claim doesn’t have to be! Here’s how to make the process smoother:

1️⃣ Document Everything – Take clear photos and videos of the damage before cleanup begins.
2️⃣ Contact Your Insurance Provider – Report the claim as soon as possible and note your claim number.
3️⃣ Call a Trusted Restoration Company (Like FRI!) – We’ll work directly with your insurance adjuster to ensure nothing gets missed.
4️⃣ Keep Communication Open – Stay in touch with both your contractor and your insurance rep for updates and next steps.

🌟Team Member Monday!🌟Meet Jennifer Coleman, our Business Development Manager for Houston that serves alongside our commercial team.

Jennifer focuses on building strategic partnerships with commercial property owners, facility managers, and industry professionals, connecting them with proven restoration and reconstruction solutions.

Something you may not know: Jennifer managed a wide range of apartment communities earlier in her career from new lease-ups to older properties in need of rehabilitation. This gave her a front row seat to the challenges properties face, including mold, water damage, biohazard situations, and reconstruction needs.

When she's not working, she enjoys long walks in nature with their dog Flynn🐾, spending time at the barn with their horse Amberjack (AJ)🐴, and making memories with friends and family!💛
