MAINTENANCE!
I post this every summer trying to help people….
This is a 100% true fact.
Probably 80-90% of customers calling In for an air conditioning system not cooling right now…..
Probably would have never had to call IF they were on a Yearly Maintenance Plan and had maintenance performed in the Spring….
When it’s hot with the temperatures near or at 100* every little flaw in your system is compounded due to the heat.
A dirty condenser coil or a dirty filter will not allow proper heat transfer and the result is a system not cooling. Parts that were weak or failing in the Spring Could have been caught and replaced before the Heat set in…
New homes today have the drain lines running to the bathroom sinks. If this is not vacuumed out in the Spring, the drain lines going to back up and cause water damage that could be in the thousands… This is why we also recommend a In-Line Float Switch all day, every day!
Now, combine the heat with all the service calls coming in for all the Ac companies…. It’s backed up. Same Day service may not be available and if it is it may come at a Premium Price.
Do your self, your family and your bank account a favor and Enroll in a Yearly Maintenance Plan every year!
