Four Seasons Insulation, LLC is currently taking applications for 1099 Contractors, for the following position;

Must be able to clear background checks needed for secure job sites.

PRN CONTRACTOR JOURNEYPERSON INSULATOR
$15.00 Hourly
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Journeyperson Insulator will be knowledgeable in applying insulation to pipe, ducts, walls, pumps, tanks. and equipment as required by project specifications. Journeyperson will also need to be knowledgeable and have experience with the use of products like fiberglass, mineral wool, urethane, closed-cell foam, PVC, and aluminum jacketing.
Must have the ability to: -Work unsupervised -To read blueprints, sketches, or building plans. -To assist other crafts while not actively working on an insulation project. -To follow all company and job-site rules and regulations and willingness to follow all safety rules and regulations. -To meet all physical requirements like but not limited to: -Consistent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. -The use of arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools. -The lifting, carrying, and moving of up to 50 lbs. -Climb ladders and stairways, work off platforms and man lifts, and may occasionally work out on an open structure using the appropriate fall protection requirements. -Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, half and full-face respirators, safety vests, gloves, and leather work boots.
Qualifications: 3-5 years working as a Journeyperson Insulator on an industrial/commercial construction project. You must be knowledgeable and have experience in: -Read and understand blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. -Journeyperson insulation fabrication methods -Understanding the proper techniques required to install or replace insulation systems -Measuring, marking, and cutting required wooden/metallic materials to the required specifications. -Measure, mark, and cut required insulation to required specifications. -Fabricate, size, and shape insulating materials to fit uninsulated surfaces.
