This project sits on a unique, sloping lot within the flood zone, which brings its own set of design challenges—and those are exactly the types of projects we enjoy at B Ingenious Designs.

Unique properties require unique solutions. Our team is excited to use our creativity, architectural expertise, and problem-solving skills to maximize this lot while bringing our client’s vision to life.

A milestone worth celebrating. 🙏🏾

Proud to officially break ground on Advanced Surgical Solutions!

This project challenged us, stretched us, and ultimately made us better architects. As our firm’s first surgical center, it pushed B Ingenious Designs into a new space, expanded our experience, and elevated our team.

What makes this moment even more special is the team behind it—a Black architect, Black developer, Black contractor, and a Black plastic surgeon who will own and operate the facility. Seeing Black professionals come together to design, develop, build, own, and operate a project like this is a powerful milestone for the culture.

Grateful for the trust, proud of the team, and excited to see this vision come to life. 🏗️✊🏾

Just renewed my architecture license, and it made me stop for a second and reflect.

I’ve been a Registered Architect for 8 years now, and sometimes I forget how hard I fought to earn those letters behind my name.

I graduated in 2010 with a dream of becoming an architect. It took me until 2018 to get licensed. Eight years of studying, late nights, sacrifices, failing exams, passing exams, tears, frustration, and refusing to quit. My wife saw the entire journey and stood beside me through all of it.

What makes it even more meaningful is that I earned my license just two months before my dad passed away. He always wanted to be an architect himself, and I’ll forever be grateful that he got to see me accomplish that dream before he left this earth. In a way, I feel like I got to finish a dream we both shared.

Looking back, I realize God didn’t make the journey easy because the struggle was preparing me for everything that would come afterward—running my own firm, leading people, solving problems, and becoming the man and architect I needed to be.

So today, I’m taking a moment to appreciate the journey. Sometimes we get so used to living in what we once prayed for that we forget it used to be a dream.

If you’re still chasing yours, keep going. Your timeline is YOUR timeline. Don’t let somebody else’s easier journey make you give up on yours.

Dreams really do become reality. 🙏🏾

Grateful. Humbled. Still building. 🏗️📐

🚨 SNEAK PEEK — INGENIOUS LIVING STOCK PLANS IS COMING SOON! 🏡

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and I’m excited to finally start sharing a few sneak peeks from our upcoming Ingenious Living Stock Plan Catalog.

We’re rolling out a growing collection of thoughtfully designed, ready-to-build home plans created with investors, developers, builders, and future homeowners in mind.

The goal is simple: save time, reduce design costs, and make it easier to get your next project moving.

Our catalog will include a variety of plans for development projects, investment properties, starter homes, and more, with options to make modifications and revisions when needed.

This has been a lot of work in the making, and I’m excited about what we’re getting ready to release.

We’re excited to share a few updated renderings of this incredible custom residence. This project challenged our team in all the right ways, requiring creative solutions to balance site constraints, city requirements, and our client’s vision without compromising the design.

Every detail has been carefully considered, and we’re incredibly proud of how this home has come together.

🏡 Excited to share one of our newest major remodel projects!

We’re transforming this home with a modern exterior facelift, opening up the floor plan, redesigning the kitchen and living spaces, converting an unused formal sitting room into a game room, remodeling the bathrooms, creating a luxurious primary suite, and even adding a custom miniature putting green for future Airbnb guests. ⛳✨
