Recently I took a call from a new customer, and before we hung up, he asked if he could share some information with me. Apparently he's the kind of guy who does a deep dive before hiring a contractor, and he had thoroughly researched local Richmond Plumbers before deciding to call us. Turns out, we are the highest rated licensed plumbing company headquartered in Richmond & the highest rated family run plumbing company in Fort Bend County. I thought surely, he had overlooked some of our competitors who have much larger fleets than we have, but from what I could tell, he hadn't. With over 600 five-star google reviews, we are outperforming companies that have far more plumbers than our humble family business. And when you consider additional five-star reviews on other platforms, our 1100+ reviews begin to rival even some of the big corporate plumbers in Sugar Land, Katy, Houston and Harris County.

Honestly, I was stunned. Even if there is one or two out there that he or I overlooked, the fact remains that in a very short time since starting our business in 2017, our guiding philosophy, "Your Plumber for Life," has gotten us here. At the end of the day, we're human, and we'll never be perfect, but we will continue to strive for it every day. People often ask us, especially fellow business owners, what the "secret" is. The truth is, there is no secret. It just boils down to committing ourselves to striving for excellence in every category, every day. Dwaine's decades of experience working on everything from residential properties, to sky scrapers, hospitals & military bases certainly doesn't hurt--but this review record can't be credited to superior skill alone. Customer service, follow through, honesty, transparency & building the right team have all been integral to this accomplishment. Running a small family business can be very hard at times, and there's not a day that goes by that we don't question decisions we make or how best to move the company forward into an uncertain future. Business ownership requires faith above all else.
