Sunday morning nuggets- the provision we pray for is already there.

Matthew 6:33: Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.

Put Christ first and He will provide all your needs. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the “I have to” when we should be following after God so hard and letting Him provide for us like he says he will.

Read through Matthew 6 today if you get a chance. let God speak truth to you in your situations and let Him comfort you.

Sunday morning nugget- Grace came before the law.

Exodus 18:8-12
“Moses told his father-in-law about all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, and about all the hardship that had happened during the journey, and how the Lord had rescued them. Jethro REJOICED over all the good things the Lord had done to Israel, in that He had rescued them from the hand of the Egyptians. Jethro said, “Blessed be the Lord, who has rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of Pharaoh, and who has rescued the people from under the hand of the Egyptians. NOW I KNOW that the Lord is greater than all gods; indeed, it was proven when they acted insolently toward Israel and the Lord showed Himself infinitely superior to all their gods.” Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God, and Aaron came with ALL THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL to eat a meal with Moses’ father-in-law before God.”

TAKEAWAY- The law has not been given to Moses yet. Jethro believes in Yahweh as the one true God, casting aside all the other gods that he had served before, and a seat at the table is opened to him through grace. Believing on God and accepting the grace He has laid out for us, brings us to His table. The law helps shape us and reflect Christ to the world.

Sunday morning nugget-

Isaiah 59:2- but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.

We are one week post resurrection, reflecting on why Jesus had to die. We were separated from the face of Yahweh forever! If he just ignored sin he would not be just. Jesus’ death and resurrection did three things for those who put their faith in Him. It changed,

• Fear → Faith
• Doubt → Conviction
• Death → Victory

Now, because of His sacrifice those who believe in and follow Him are reconciled to the Father. We get to experience Him not only on this earth but someday will be with Him in eternity 🙏🏼 So thankful that even though we have sinned and fallen short of His glory, Jesus came for us not only once to die but that He will come back again for us!

Resurrection Nugget- “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

The resurrection didn’t just prove who Jesus is—it changed who we are.

Before the resurrection, the disciples were hiding—afraid, scattered, and broken. After it, they were bold, fearless, and willing to die for what they saw. That’s what resurrection power does—it doesn’t just inspire you, it transforms you. Because Jesus walked out of that grave, fear doesn’t get to run your life anymore!

Sunday morning nugget-

“They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!’” — John 12:13

Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus didn’t enter Jerusalem in power or pride—but in humility, riding on a donkey, knowing the cross was ahead. The same crowd that shouted “Hosanna” would soon turn, yet He still came. It’s a reminder that God’s plan isn’t built on comfort—it’s built on purpose. Today, we don’t just celebrate His arrival—we recognize His obedience, His courage, and the love that carried Him all the way to the cross.

Sunday morning nuggets, God makes everything beautiful in His time, even when life feels confusing, delayed, or unfinished.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

What looks broken right now may just be a part of the process. We may not understand the season we’re in, but we can trust that God sees the full picture and is still working.

He has placed eternity in our hearts, giving us a desire for purpose, meaning, and something greater than this world. Even when we cannot see how it all fits together, faith reminds us that God’s timing is perfect, and He can make even the hardest seasons beautiful.
