Friday was a jam-packed day at Garrett Electrical!

A huge thank you to Heather Bailey from Piedmont Athens for leading our team in NSC training, covering CPR, AED use, and Stop the Bleed.

The Boots-Etc truck made things incredibly convenient by coming on-site to fit everyone for EHS boots.

And of course, a big thank you to Hesco—always a great partner—for providing a space for training, as well as breakfast and lunch for the team.

We appreciate everyone who helped make the day both productive and impactful!

CDL Class A Driver / Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are hiring a CDL Class A driver with strong mechanical experience. This position includes transporting materials/equipment and performing maintenance on excavators, skid steers, trenchers, scissor lifts, and company trucks.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver materials & equipment
• Perform diesel, hydraulic & electrical repairs
• Welding/fabrication as needed
• Assist with warehouse duties when not driving

Requirements:
• Valid CDL Class A
• Heavy equipment mechanical experience
• Welding preferred
• Reliable & self-motivated

Last week we were able to visit a local high school physics class. We taught about electrical circuits and how a career in the trades can be a lucrative career and a way to get ahead in the future.
