Finished and flowing. 🐢🌱
This indoor turtle pond was designed as a true ecosystem—natural stone, moving water, and turtle-safe plants all working in harmony.

Our team at Dower Stone built the structural enclosure with block work, then finished it with thin stone veneer and bluestone caps. The water features and interior turtle ecosystem were thoughtfully designed and installed by , creating a healthy, permanent home for rescued turtles at after their rebuild. This is what collaboration looks like. 🌿

Our Mountain Mosaic Inlay! 🏔️✨

What a fun family masonry art project! This mountain mosaic inlay under the roof of the board and batten shed is extra special, designed by our incredible architect, Margot, with Henry and George as our lead masons, and Dad bringing the muscle as labor!

A walkway that feels like it’s always been part of the landscape…We used our own locally sourced weathered fieldstone for this natural flagging path, flowing into a grass-joint stepper walkway for a softer organic look.

Come spring, the homeowners plan to plant moss between the joints where the pea-stone is to make it feel even more connected to its surroundings. 🌿
