Solar is a long-term investment — but unfortunately, not every solar contractor stays in business long enough to stand behind the systems they installed.

Across New Hampshire and New England, there are homeowners with perfectly good solar systems whose original installer has gone out of business. When that happens, the workmanship warranty and service support that came with the installation may disappear with them.

At Granite State Illuminators, we believe in solar. We enjoy working on it, and we want to keep our team experienced and involved in the industry.

That’s why GSI is now offering solar service for “orphaned” systems — systems where the original contractor is no longer available to provide service or warranty support.

Whether your system is showing an error, has stopped producing, needs troubleshooting, or simply needs an experienced electrical contractor to take a look, give us a call.

Your original installer may be gone. Your solar system doesn’t have to be abandoned.

If you’re having trouble with your solar system — or know someone who is — reach out to GSI today.

“Don’t let a mad world tell you that success is anything other than a successful present moment.”
— Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth

Not every day of building a business happens on a jobsite.

Some days it looks like meeting up with your business partner and taking the kids to the park.

Granite State Illuminators is more than three guys trying to make money. It’s three men building families, putting down roots, and raising kids to be part of their communities and enjoy the outdoors.

We’re not chasing some perfect work-life balance. It’s all just life — and we believe the best version of it is built through connection, support, hard work, family, and community.

Granite State Illuminators is proud to share that our very own Master Electrician, Phil Leclair, secured a Bring Back the Trades grant to provide Milwaukee tools for his students at Manchester School of Technology.

Phil’s commitment to the next generation of tradespeople is exactly the kind of leadership we’re proud to have at GSI. Investing in students, training, and real hands-on opportunity is how we help keep the trades strong.

Congratulations, Phil — well deserved.

Congratulations to Manchester School of Technology, which is the first recipient of the Bring Back the Trades Tool Grant Program! The award, made possible through the support of Milwaukee Tool delivered a professional-grade electrical tool kit to the school.

"If you can get 1% better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done.”
— James Clear, Atomic Habits

This week, one of our small wins was getting the GSI truck lettered.

It’s not a massive step by itself, but it’s another step forward. Another layer of professionalism. Another way to show up in the community. Another reminder that small improvements compound.

That’s how we’re building Granite State Illuminators.

Consistent effort.

Quality work.

Community focus.

Marginal gains.

Small actions compound.
