Homewood Flossmoor needs native roadside pollinator habitats instead of wasting so much $$, water and resources on turf grass. When native habitats save so much money, water, resources, manages storm runoff/flooding, requires less maintenance and most importantly it helps our pollinators that so desperately need our help in every way. PLANT NATIVE.

Please HOLD OFF cleaning up the yard or garden with suck great temperatures! Overwintering pollinators are STILL SLEEPING and you’ll get rid of them.

I’ve personally had to remind myself multiple times on multiple days this year, and it’s only February.

Wanna plant something? Start seeds indoors, or container plant!

This weather is brought to you by El Niño and climate change.
