We lifted a chimney once... here's how:

Customer was restoring an old farm house.

The chimney foundation was securely cantilevered inside the house foundation, but the outside had settled -- separating the chimney 4" from the roof line.

After working with the engineer, we installed an I-beam and 2 x P3 post/bracket assemblies to distribute the load.

Using hydraulic jacks, pushing down on the installed posts, we raised the sinking face of the chimney, closing the gap at the top of the house...

Welded the I-beam/bracket assembly together.

Finishing off with concrete for any residual void fill.

The Techno Metal Posts have a "superpower" in these situations of 'settling conditions.'

The customer got to retain the character of their new home and safely secure the chimney.
