Screw or nail? What is the smarter move for drywall?
Nails are fast and cheap, but when wood moves or studs dryout, they can back out and cause those classic nail pops.
Drywall screws bite into the stud and stay put. That's why you need fewer screws per sheet, you can incorporate more space between screws. The threads lock in and hold tight.
Screws give you better holding power, fewer pops, cleaner finishes, less rework and better performance.

As May comes to a close, so does Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder that the people building our world deserve support that goes beyond the jobsite.
This year's theme from Mental Health America, "More Good Days, Together," hits home for our industry. Long hours, tough conditions, and constant pressure can take a toll. Checking in on your crew and yourself matters more than most people realize.
A quick conversation. A moment to breathe. A reminder that no one has to carry everything alone. Small things make a real difference.
Here's to more good days, together.

As we return to the workweek after Memorial Day, we pause to honor the meaning behind the holiday. It's a moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice and service of the men and women who gave their lives in defense of our country.
At Grabber, we're grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the communities, including so many veterans and military families, who are part of the construction industry and the work we support every day. We hope everyone found time for connection, reflection, and appreciation this weekend.
Here's to carrying that spirit of gratitude forward in the days ahead.

Our Grabber Branch teams are the frontline for contractors, the people who load the trucks, solve inventory questions, and hear customers ask for Grabber by name.
Ryan Gross, VP of Branch Operations, says one of his favorite parts of the job is visiting every branch and meeting the managers, drivers, and warehouse crews who make it all happen.
Here is to the teams who keep contractors moving every day.
