Account Manager/Designer Position details: You will build business relationships within the radius you live; and leverage our market-leading expertise and credentials to capture new accounts and establish a sustainable book of business.

Qualities for Success!
- Residential design/construction, and account management background preferred, but not required (Kitchen, bath and/or interior design background is a good match)
- Ideal candidates live in and are well-networked in their specific geographic area (i.e. Fairfax County/Arlington,) and are committed full-time with flexibility
- Attributes required to be successful at Tailored Living and in this role:
o Great attitude, infectious energy, and enjoys networking and building relationships
o Professional communicator in terms of language, responsiveness & timeliness (hallmark of our company)
o Exceptional sales skills (i.e., requirements gathering, timeliness, handling objections, closing)
o Technically strong and savvy (i.e. Microsoft Office, file management, ability to learn/use CAD drawing, Surface tablet use)
o Collaborative and positive when working with others
o Detail-oriented and innovative problem solver (i.e. measuring, CAD drawings, construction-minded, and iterative detail from design to contract)

Timing & Work Location: Target start date is in the June timeframe. Full-time, flexible position. Work location is a mix of at-home individual work and virtual meetings; at the Herndon showroom/office as needed; at client residences/job sites for consultations and job walkthroughs; and networking events or meetings. In-person/virtual sales or company training sessions and meetings are required. Position reports to Director of Sales & Design.

Total Rewards: Commission-based compensation structure with bonus and incentive plan. Intensive onboarding and ongoing training provided. Computer, laser measure, software, samples provided. Company-backed healthcare benefits and IRA with matching. A great team and prideful place to work where we care about clients and our people.
