This 18th century home in the hills of Heath had damaged slate on the roof for quite some time. We originally did a temporary patch to make it through the bad weather.
This was a true test of the amazing skills our team holds. Old broken slates were removed to expose all the rotted sheeting. All rotted wood was removed and replaced. New slates that had been stored in the homeowner's barn for many years, were installed and new , detailed to match existing, facia was installed to finish out this roof repair.

No job is too small and this one was needed.
With the break in the weather a couple weeks ago, our team was able to get on the roof of this local building and install some ice melting heat cable to prevent future ice dams and leaks associated with that.

This year we’ve built everything from brand-new first-floor decks to second-story additions, and now a full re-decking on a beautiful older home in Northfield.

For this project we removed all the rotted decking and railings, cleaned and prepped the existing framing, and installed long-lasting Trex-style composite decking paired with fresh wood railings.

We’re incredibly pleased to help bring this space back to life — safe, sturdy, and ready just before the snow came.

We used low-maintenance Trex decking for long-lasting durability, and added a metal grate to let snow and ice melt right through ❄️➡️💧 — no more slippery mess!
