Our volunteer meeting went awesome today! We came up with some great ideas and a clear game plan for the event day. A 15 kW (15,000 Watt) heater operating on a 110-volt (110 V) power supply will draw approximately 136 amps.

A 15 kW (15,000 watt) heater operating on 240 volts draws 62.5 amps.

110 volt space heaters are not meant for a permanent source of heat, to be ran on an extension cords or surge protectors/splitters. They can lead to house fires & electrical fires. 110 volt heaters use more electricity than 240 volt heaters of equal wattage. 110 volt space heaters are for emergency situations.

Remember always use a locally trusted licensed and insured contractor with multiple years experience.
