🌱 4-Week Lawn Renovation Update 🌱

What a difference 4 weeks can make!
This lawn was struggling with thin turf, bare spots, and poor density. After proper site prep, seeding, fertilization, and consistent watering, we're already seeing strong establishment and healthy new growth across the property.

✅ Improved turf coverage
✅ New grass filling in bare areas
✅ Strong root development underway
✅ Color and density improving each week

There are still a few thin areas that will continue to fill in as the grass matures, but the progress so far has been outstanding. Patience and proper maintenance are key to a successful lawn renovation.

🌱 Lawn Renovation Update – Week 2 🌱

Two weeks in and we're already seeing great progress! The new grass is coming up nicely, coverage is improving every day, and the lawn is starting to take shape.

This stage is all about patience and proper watering. Strong root development now will lead to a thick, healthy lawn in the weeks ahead. We'll continue monitoring growth and making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible results.

With the recent heavy rainfall, type III fairy rings might pop up in lawns. Fairy ring is a common turfgrass disease in Louisiana caused by fungi.

There are three types of fairy rings. Type I causes grass loss or damage, and type II stimulates grass growth. Type III, the most common after heavy rain, does not harm the turf but produces rings of mushrooms or toadstools.

Control of type III fairy ring is usually unnecessary. You can pick off and discard the mushrooms before they fully open or mow them down. Be sure to keep children and pets from ingesting the mushrooms.
