That’s why we’re excited to announce that, after demoing several horizontal grinders and putting them through their paces, we’ve made our decision…
We’re adding a Bandit HM6420 Horizontal Grinder to the JKC fleet!
Traditional land clearing often involves piling debris, burning, or hauling thousands of cubic yards of material off-site. Horizontal grinding changes that. By processing whole trees, stumps, and logging debris directly on the jobsite, we’re able to eliminate burn piles, reduce hauling costs, recycle material into usable mulch or biomass, and leave a cleaner site that’s ready for the next phase of construction much sooner.
After comparing multiple machines, the Bandit HM6420 stood above the rest. Powered by a 1,200 HP Caterpillar engine, it’s built for maximum production with a heavy-duty hammermill, high-capacity feed system, and advanced impact detection technology that helps protect the machine while processing everything from whole trees and stumps to logging slash and brush.
