Congratulations to a beautiful couple! 💍🎹

Last Saturday, our pianist Michelle performed a solo piano wedding on the Steinway at Gettysburg College Chapel — a truly stunning venue for a formal, elegant ceremony.

The music told the story of the day: a contemporary pre-ceremony set with songs like "A Thousand Years," "Thinking Out Loud," and "I'm Yours," followed by a bridal processional to Sheeran's "Perfect" and a joyful recessional to Mendelssohn's Wedding March.

Lord of the Rings → Phantom of the Opera → Bruno Mars. All in one ceremony. 🎻

A week ago we set up on the lawn by the lake in Elizabethtown for a 4:30 outdoor wedding. Half an hour of classical and contemporary while guests found their seats, and then the processionals began.

The wedding party came down the aisle to "Concerning Hobbits" from Lord of the Rings — ringbearer bringing up the rear, naturally. The bride entered to "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera. "O Perfect Love" underscored the cord braiding. And Bruno Mars' "Marry You" sent everyone off grinning. Cocktail hour moved to the shaded patio for a contemporary set.

Two violins and a cello covering every bit of it — thanks to Jess, Brianna, and Isaac for a beautiful afternoon.

We're excited to share the Temple Avenue Quartet performing "Sandu," a beloved jazz standard written by the late, great trumpeter Clifford Brown. This tune has been a favorite of jazz musicians for decades, and our quartet gives it the smooth, swinging treatment it deserves.

Looking back at one of our favorite moments from this year's wedding season 🎶🤍
This outdoor ceremony at The Cornwall Inn in Lebanon, PA, was made even more special with solo harp music from Elizabeth. From Bach's "Air on the G String" during the mothers' processional to "A Thousand Years" as the bride walked down the aisle, every note set the perfect tone for the day.

Still thinking about this one 🎻☀️

Earlier this month, C. Stelle Music partnered with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra to bring a String Family Educational Presentation to the Joshua Group's summer camp. Gabriel (violin) and Michael (cello) performed across three assemblies, playing songs the campers already knew by heart — "Shape of You," "Despacito," and "Havana" — while introducing them to the string family up close.

For over 20 years, the Joshua Group has served at-risk youth in Harrisburg's Allison Hill neighborhood, offering preschool, after-school and summer learning programs, mentoring, and scholarships — all at no cost to the families they serve. More than 250 city youth come through the Joshua Learning Center each week to invest in their future through education.
