Every month, we will award points to our Posts as follows:

For February, the challenge remains the same and the top Post in each Division will be receiving a special VFW Tactical Backpack, perfect for filling with recruiting materials when you're out at those events bringing new members into the Post!

To inspire you further - January saw an uptick in membership growth from December, which is an excellent trend that shows we're not just huddling up inside during the cold winter, we're getting out there and recruiting! Let's keep that momentum going!

This year we have the traveling boot memorial for the gold stars. There are 400 boots with names attached to those. Here's a picture we are looking to see if there's another VFW for next year that would like to display it. Please get a hold of me. This is Diana, 1991

Yesterday the Veterans of Foreign Wars Marion/ West Memphis Post 5225 Commander James Wilson, Quartermaster Mickey Littlejohn, and Myself, State of Arkansas Commander Elvin Tate had the opportunity to spend time with Mr. John Westley Holden on his 96th Birthday. He is a Korean War Veteran and also joined Post 5225 as a new Life Member. It was an honor to be in his presence. We also gave him gifts for the occasion.
