Brick by brick 🧱

We got the opportunity to build this customer a beautiful retaining wall to eliminate a drainage issue between the two homes. This wall will outlive most, if not all of us. Standing about 3 feet tall and over 110 feet long, each block was leveled and filled with gravel to ensure proper drainage and strength. It took just over 100,000 pounds of gravel, fill dirt and topsoil from Hometown Rock and Landscape,LLC to raise the ground level for the wall! We also installed 3” piping from the downspouts to a 4” drainage pipe, along with 3 catch basins to help with heavy rains.

We are excited to be able to offer this service and bring a lasting product to our customers! First, we give thanks the Lord our God, and then to our customers and supporters.

We’ve had a very busy spring and early summer. Landscaping, lawn care, tree trimming/felling, home and fencing repairs, new construction, and more! We love that we are able to offer multiple services for the customer. It is a blessing to be able to work with and for some great people, I appreciate you all for choosing us to do your work. If it’s your property, we can repair it, maintain it, or construct it!

Installed this 3’ x 21’ walkway for a couple to safely use their cane and walker to get to their storm cellar! We also trenched in about 8 feet of drainage pipe to divert water away from their new walkway. The area was excavated to eliminate any kind of trip hazard from the pavers and ensure the 5/8” granite stayed within the edging. I’ll have to get a few photos when the granite dries to show how nice it looks in sunlight, I had just washed the rock and pavers. We will stop by in a couple weeks for quality checks and to make sure the foundation for the pavers is setting up evenly!

This weekend we installed a new set of forward CV axles on a 2019 Ram. A couple months ago, we’d also installed a set of Kooks headers into a full 3” exhaust on this same pickup. We offer a range of services to keep your property in shape. If it is your property, we can repair it, maintain it, and/or construct it!

Making progress on another flowerbed restoration this week! We w**ded the beds, removed and realigned the retainers, and installed fresh w**d barrier and new 1”-2” natural stone around the pavers in the walkway. Along with the flower bed and walkway restoration, we also completed a large amount of lower limb trimming to give the customer the clearance they need for their equipment. We have more work to do on this property, those updates will be coming soon! I’ve also attached photos of the custom Christmas lights we installed this winter on their fencing and entryway. The installed lights came out to be over 1,700 feet in total length! A video of the completed flowerbed is in the comments.

We’ve been busy the last few weeks tying up a couple jobs!
These flower/pond beds were out of control. We came through and leveled the beds back out, replaced the retainers, and removed and cleaned unwanted plants. The beds are both prepped to be planted, after they’re planted, we will be back to place flower bed and walkway rock! We also completed a general yard clean up, mowed, removed leaves, and split a large tree trunk we cut down to get ready for stump grinding.
