The finished build is here! 🏡🔥

After taking this project from a wooded property all the way through site development and construction, it’s time to see how it all came together.

This 30' x 55' x 15' barndominium features (2) 12' x 55' lean-tos, giving the entire structure approximately 3,030 sq. ft. of covered space.

The Build

• 30' x 55' x 15' main building
• (2) 12' x 55' lean-tos
• 1,470 sq. ft. shop space
• 8 – 30" transom windows
• 2 – 36" x 80" walk doors
• 2 – 10' x 10' roll doors
• Insulated roof & walls
• Electrical, plumbing & HVAC

Inside the Residence

The finished 20' x 30' residence provides a comfortable studio style living space with:

• 600 sq. ft. living area
• Toilet, sink & shower
• 3 – 35" x 45" double-pane windows
• 2 – 36" x 80" walk doors
• 1 ceiling fan

And outside, the 12' x 15' (180 sq. ft.) screened porch with a storm door and 10' x 12' (120 sq. ft.) covered porch adds the perfect space to enjoy the property.

From heavily wooded property to a finished barndo 👀

This property presented a lot more than just a building site. Before construction could even begin, our team had to transform the existing access and prepare the land for everything that was coming next.

We spent several days widening and repairing the existing logging road to create reliable construction access. The property also had a creek crossing that required a bridge, which we built to support construction traffic and provide permanent egress for the finished property.

From there, we took the site through clearing, grading, soil remediation, septic installation, concrete work, and building out the new driveway. Each step was part of turning a heavily wooded site into a functional property ready for the build.

The finished project features a 30' x 55' x 15' barndominium with (2) 12' x 55' lean-tos.

Looking for a qualified candidate to join our site development team.

Requirements:
• Working knowledge of laser/transit for shooting and establishing grades
• A clear understanding of land clearing standard processes and procedures
• Understanding elevations to determine proper sloping for stormwater management
• Knowledge of BMP for erosion control
• Ability to work in the elements for long periods
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as required
• This isn't a strictly operator position although you will gradually increase your seat time with experience and proven proficiency at assigned site work tasks
• Must have a clean MVR to be insurable to operate company vehicles
• Ability to safely pull/maneuver trailers to and from jobs
• Candidate will be responsible for final jobsite clean up, from loading forms, tucking in around slabs, final grading of site and soil remediation
• Candidate will be responsible for loading materials and equipment to support the concrete crew
• Candidate will be responsible for managing inventory of concrete and equipment related materials
• Candidate must be able to work independently to achieve assigned tasks
• CDL preferred but not required
• Concrete experience preferred but not required
• Will be subject to pre hire and random drugs screens
• We are seeking candidates with recent relevant experience only

This project included site clearing, grading, soil remediation, a 4" concrete slab with (2) 18" post lift piers, and the construction of a 30'x50'x12' steel building with a 30'x20' gable extension.

The finished building features:
• Vertical siding
• Insulated roof & walls
• (2) 3'x3' windows
• 36"x80" walk door
• 10'x10' roll door
• 8'x8' roll door
• (3) transom windows

Finished with Ivory siding, Alamo trim, and a Galvalume roof.
