Putting in some work on the apartment turn today. 🔨

We’re installing ¼" luan underlayment throughout the apartment and taking our time to do the prep properly.

That means getting the luan fitted tight, working it underneath the existing baseboards where needed, securing it properly, making sure there are no loose spots, and vacuuming everything clean before the flooring company comes in. 🧹

We got most of the apartment knocked out today, with just three filler pieces and one bedroom left to finish up. We’ll be back tomorrow to wrap up the luan installation and get the kitchen ready for the next phase — hanging the new cabinets.

It’s one of those parts of a job that most people never see once everything is finished, but the prep underneath matters.

No shortcuts. Just getting everything ready for the next crew and making sure the work is done right. 💪

If you need a floor prepped and ready for installation, give Holl N’ Ashe Construction a call or send us a message. We’ll get it ready the right way.

Another apartment turn underway in Guilderland. 🛠️

This one needed a little more than your typical clean-up. The old parquet flooring was soaked with urine, so we had to get all of that removed before we could really start putting the apartment back together.

We’ve been working our way through it — everything has been sealed with Zinsser BIN and got a first coat of paint to clean things up and give us a fresh starting point. We’re also getting the final patch work and wall repairs taken care of before the finish coat goes on.

Next up, we’ll be pouring floor leveler where needed and installing new underlayment before the new flooring goes down. We’ve also got all the trim and doors painted already. Still to come: one more coat on the walls, kitchen cabinets, and a complete bathroom redo.

A lot of work goes into getting a unit like this back to a clean, livable condition, but it’s coming along. 💪

Another turn for Deer Valley Apartments, another one getting closer to move-in ready.

Looking for work on your next project, rental, or property turn? Don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d be happy to take a look and see how we can help.

Just a Grill… Right?

Started out with a simple grill assembly for a great customer. By the time we were done, we may have also picked up a few painting projects along the way.

That’s one thing I really enjoy about this business — sometimes a small job turns into a bigger project just by taking care of people, earning their trust, and doing good work.

Grill is assembled, looking sharp, and ready for some serious cooking! 🔥

Appreciate the opportunity and the trust. If you’ve got a project around the house that needs some attention, big or small, give Holl N’ Ashe Construction a shout.

Over this past weekend, Adirondack Air Systems completed an ongoing project for a new customer.
They requested that we close up a hole from a previous window, install two storm doors (front and back of entryway), and fix some flooring that was cut short from what used to be a doorway. This was no problem and we got straight to work!

See below for before and after pictures.

Last night we tackled a shower drain leak for a new customer. This required us to replace the existing drain with a new one, and an access panel was installed for easy future access. No job is too small! Contacts us today to set up your free quote.
