* Service work, repairs, and upgrades

This home had an outdated 100-amp overhead service that had seen better days. Silverback Electric upgraded the exterior service to 200 amps, relocated the equipment to meet current code requirements, and brought the overhead service up to today’s standards.

Because the existing service entrance wire feeding the interior panel was not being replaced, we also installed the proper main breaker protection for the interior panel.

Old electrical equipment isn’t just an eyesore—it can become a serious reliability and safety concern.

If you’ve already called your power company and they’ve confirmed there’s no issue on their end, the problem could be with your service entrance conductors running from your exterior meter/main disconnect to your home’s interior electrical panel.

On this project, we diagnosed the issue and replaced the damaged service entrance wiring from the main disconnect to the interior panel, safely restoring full power to the home.
