Happy Friday Everyone!! This extraordinary, intricate, antique design bathroom renovation slowly comes together. We started on planning, reviewing this particular bathroom in early Spring 2024. It’s been intense months of work, before the demolition started, just location of the shower was changed 3 times… this is old house with concrete second and 3rd floor subfloors. For new plumbing connections the floor needed to be just down entirely 5” down. We poured concrete, let it cure for 28 days under plastic and we were watering it couple times a week before we proceeded with mud job, deck mud floating the new subfloor… on top we went with electric heating cables, self leveler and tank the entire bathroom with thick coats of Aqua Defense. It’s rock solid!! Long story short starting 5” bellow with details like stone base and stone jambs going up like a crown we managed to start our layout with full tile on top of base and finished with full by the crown 👑 Working around intricate jobs like that just make us stronger each day and motivated that everything and anything is possible!!
