McCandless Painting is working two very cool, bigger jobs in Strawberry and Bear Valley this week.

Both jobs require heavy prep - weeks worth for 8 painters - and will look exceptional when finished.

We love working on high expectation projects - it’s where our people and our process shines.

Just wrapped up these railings in Strawberry for the Stewart family. We painted the house last year and gave the new railings some time to fully dry before sanding and applying a coat of Armstrong Clark “Rustic Brown” semi transparent stain.

A beautiful new construction home we finished in Oakdale.

Something a little different today - we’re rebuilding this shade structure / pergola for one of our customers in Pine Mountain Lake.

We used 6x10 and 4x8 redwood instead of doubling 2x8 and 2x10. It looks better and will last longer.
