Another blanket in the works! 🧶💕

I swear, watching the colors change is half the fun of crocheting!

I decided to add a little white every 5 rows, and somehow the colors are lining up almost perfectly! 😍

No planning, no counting out color changes, just letting the yarn do its thing! Simple stitches, mindless joy!

I'm absolutely loving how this one is turning out!

Plants are SO freaking cool. 🪴

About a month ago, I cut several pieces off my monstera because she was getting a little too full. I figured I’d propagate the cuttings, thin out the big plant, everybody wins.

Apparently she disagreed with the “thin out” part. 😂
While the cuttings are happily propagating, the mother plant decided she REALLY wanted those branches back and started pushing out brand-new growth right next to where I cut them.

I tried subtraction.

Monstera chose multiplication. 😂🌱

I just think it’s so freaking cool that there were basically little dormant growth points sitting there waiting, and once I cut the old growth away the plant was like, “Oh, we have vacancies? SAY LESS.”

And now I have the original plant growing new babies plus all the pieces I’m propagating.

So, technically, my attempt to have less monstera has resulted in… significantly more monstera. 😂

Plants are amazing. That is all. 🪴💚

Wellllll, if you have been waiting for a snail update... WE ARE HATCHING! 🐌

You can see in the photos that the clutch is opening up, and I can see some teeny tiny babies! They're still too small for me to get a decent picture of, but I will keep trying!

But just to make this even more interesting... last night we noticed our grey 🩶 mystery snail chilling at the top of the tank, and this morning we woke up to... ANOTHER CLUTCH.

It's smaller than the first one, but apparently The Grey Lady (confirmed to be our mama) has decided we're running a snail nursery now. 🤣

I'll keep updating as they hatch and grow! 🐌🐌
