⚡️ Meet the Man Behind the Power — Steve Taylor ⚡️
At the heart of Taylors Electric is a man whose hard work, dedication, and love for his community helped shape the company we are today — Steve Taylor, founder and proud small business owner.
Steve and his late wife, Dorothy, started Taylors Electric from the ground up in 1993. In those early days, Steve worked long nights after his full-time job to make his dream of owning a business a reality. With grit, determination, and a commitment to doing things the right way, he built a company based on trust, relationships, and quality workmanship.
Together, Steve and Dorothy raised two daughters, Spencer and Drew, while growing the business into a trusted name across the Upstate and beyond. After Dorothy’s passing in 2021, Steve carried on with strength and grace.
He has since remarried his wife April, gaining four wonderful bonus children: Evan, Ethan, Elizabeth, and Ann — and let’s not forget Leroy, his 10-year-old mini poodle who definitely runs the show 🐾💙
Today, Steve enjoys spending time with his big blended family and traveling — but he’s never far from Taylors Electric. His relationships with clients, like our longest-standing partner T-Mobile, reflect his lifelong belief in building strong, lasting connections.
Today, Steve continues to lead Taylors Electric with the same values he built it on — faith, family, hard work, and service.
