My family thinks I’m an expert corn picker but I’ve really just mastered the art of timing and water.
The secret: 2-4 tablespoons of sugar into boiling water, add cobs, bring back to a boil, cook for 2 mins. No longer. . Some people add milk but this works fine for me. And that’s all you need for a crisp, sweet, juicy corn. Now go do it and don’t tell anyone.
