A little landscape maintenance can make a BIG difference!

We spent some time getting these beds back under control โ€” trimming and shaping shrubs, removing unwanted growth, cleaning up perennials, fighting back Bermuda, removing vines, and finishing everything off with fresh mulch.

No new plants needed. Just a lot of careful cleanup and maintenance to let what was already here shine again.

And a big thank you to my nephew for coming out and putting in a long day helping me on this one! He definitely earned his keep!

Another one wrapped up! ๐ŸŒณ

This property had several landscape beds bordered with railroad ties that had reached the end of their life. We removed the old deteriorated ties and replaced them with #1 used railroad ties, keeping the rustic look that fits this property while giving the beds a much cleaner, solid border.

As the project came together, we also added a new border around the mailbox, added a second tier along the house, and extended the border along the driveway.

A lot of cutting, drilling, rebar and heavy lifting went into this one, but what a difference!

These shrubs had gotten a little overgrown, so we brought them back with careful trimming and shaping to give the front of the home a clean, fresh look.

โœจ A little maintenance goes a long way!

Not every landscape needs a complete makeover. On this property, the existing mulch was still in great shape, so instead of recommending new mulch, we focused on what it really needed.

โœ”๏ธ Light w**ding and bed cleanup
โœ”๏ธ Selective shrub pruning and shaping
โœ”๏ธ Refreshed and loosened the existing mulch
โœ”๏ธ Applied pre-emergent to help prevent new w**ds for the rest of the season

By maintaining the beds throughout the year, we were able to save the homeowner the cost of replacing mulch this summer. We'll be back this fall for a fresh layer of mulch and seasonal pruning to keep everything looking its best.

Sometimes the best landscaping isn't replacing everythingโ€”it's protecting what you already have.

Sometimes landscaping isn't about starting overโ€”it's about fixing what isn't working.
Heavy rains kept washing the mulch away in this bed, and unfortunately the flowers we planted last year didn't make it. We reshaped the bed with metal edging to help hold everything in place, installed fresh black mulch, and planted colorful heat-loving annuals that should thrive through the Tennessee summer.
It's a simple refresh, but one that will look better, last longer, and require less maintenance.

Freshened up this landscape with a complete bed cleanup, w**d removal, shrub trimming, selective pruning on the weeping cherry, bed redefining, and fresh black mulch.

The goal wasn't to make everything look overly trimmed or commercial. Just clean lines, healthy plants, and a landscape that fits the home and is easy to maintain moving forward.

Removed leaves and debris, cleaned up the beds, refreshed the mulch, and applied a pre-emergent to help keep future w**ds under control.

These hollies were starting to outgrow the space around the house and had a lot of dead growth hidden inside the canopy.

We cleaned out the interior, removed dead wood, pulled them back from the house, and reshaped them to better fit the space they were originally intended to fill.

The goal wasn't to make them smallโ€”it was to preserve the mature look while bringing them back into proportion with the home.

Big improvement without sacrificing the privacy screen.
