Today we’re reviewing organic fertilizer options to consider! These bags are like.. multivitamins but for your property. Instead of synthetic fertilizer which only feeds plants “processed food” instead of the real stuff, take your pick and do a little research about any of these so you better understand that you want to improve the structure, health and microbiology of the soil, in addition to the individual plant.

Multiple varieties of bees digging into their scrumptious food forest at Stone Silo Prairie Gardens. While this season is slowly coming to an end, you can get a number of native plants in the ground yet that if flowering, will seed out for next season. Keep an eye on their social media for hours and a season close date!

A LOT of debris was removed from this shrub today.. it’s subtle but internal pruning around a trunk makes a difference when it comes to tree health. When shrubs and trees grow too dense, it’s disperses valuable energy to section of the plant that doesn’t get the ideal amount of photosynthesis. You also risk the potential for criss crossing and limbs rubbing raw in the wind which then creates open wounds where pests and disease can manifest. Reach out for an assessment of ground-level Fall pruning 🌳
