A cold, rainy day like today makes it pretty clear: fall has officially arrived. 🍂

With cooler weather settling in, now is a good time to give your roof a little attention before winter. A few simple checks can help catch small issues now before snow, ice, and colder temperatures have a chance to turn them into bigger problems.

Here are a few fall roof maintenance tips to help get your home ready for the season ahead. 🏡

Not every roofing problem calls for a new roof. Sometimes the right answer is simply a well-done repair.

Repairs take experience. They take patience. And they take someone who’s willing to work within your existing roofing system instead of automatically recommending a replacement. And we’re okay with that.

Our job isn’t to recommend the biggest project. It’s to recommend the right one.

A repair when a repair is the best answer.
A replacement when a replacement is truly needed.

No matter the size of the job, it deserves to be done right. 🏡 🔨

Hail season is winding down and cooler temperatures aren’t too far away. Some in our community saw just a little hail this summer, while others had enough damage to file an insurance claim.

If you’re heading into fall with a roof claim or replacement ahead of you, here’s one helpful thing to keep in mind.

The Weld Community Foundation is one of those organizations that does so much good for the place we’re fortunate to call home. We’re proud to support their work and excited to attend this year’s Spread the Good Luncheon.

This year, they’ll be celebrating the Legends of Weld County — the people and stories that helped shape our community, while looking ahead to the legacy we’re building today.

We’re looking forward to this one!

There are stories that carry across generations—of the courage of those who first arrived, the vision of those who built, and the quiet faithfulness of those who chose to stay and serve.  In celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday and our nation’s 250th, the Weld Community Foundation is hono...

Most people only see the finished roof. What they don’t always see is everything that happens before the last shingle goes on.

Scheduling. Planning. Ordering materials. Coordinating crews. Answering questions. Inspecting every detail. It takes a lot of people working together to make every project run smoothly, and we’re grateful for every member of our team who helps make that happen.

Behind every roof is a group of hardworking people committed to doing the job the right way. 👊

It’s Justin Carlock Day! 🎉

We couldn’t be more proud of Justin and all he’s accomplished, and even prouder to call him a friend.

Congratulations, Justin! Well deserved! 👏

TODAY IS JUSTIN CARLOCK DAY IN WELD COUNTY!

A special accomplishment for a Colorado PGA Assistant golfer and Eaton resident is now a part of Weld County history! The Weld County Board of Commissioners proclaimed Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, Justin Carlock Day in Weld County.

The recognition comes after Carlock’s performance at the United States Golf Association’s U.S. Adaptive Open Championship in July. In his first-ever adaptive open, the golf world took notice of Carlock’s talent and drive as he stood out in a field of national and international competition. Three solid rounds of golf earned him a tie for third place — one of the highest finishes for any American in the competition’s history!

Beyond highlighting his athletic achievements, the proclamation expressed pride in Carlock's character. The commissioners thanked him for representing Weld County so well on a big stage.

“I’m so thankful to be in this position and be born in raised in Weld County (and) represent all of us just doing what I love to do,” Carlock said following the board’s proclamation. “Thank you guys so much!”

Congratulations, Justin!

Sometimes you’re first to the job site… and some mornings you play second fiddle to this guy giving everything a once-over. 🦚

With storms in the forecast, it’s a good time to make sure your gutters are clear so water doesn’t back up into your eaves or soffits. And if we get a lot of rain, keep an eye out for leaks around skylights, vents, chimneys, and other roof penetrations where the flashing can become overwhelmed during heavy downpours.

07/14/2026

When a leak keeps showing up and the source isn’t obvious, one of the tools we use is a controlled water test. By carefully introducing water to specific areas of the roof, we can follow its path and pinpoint exactly where it’s getting in.

And here’s the interesting part: sometimes the leak isn’t coming from the roof at all. Chimneys, siding transitions, window framing, flashing, and roof penetrations can all be the culprit.

Finding the true source of a leak is the most important part of the repair. A proper diagnosis eliminates the guesswork, prevents unnecessary work, and helps ensure the problem is fixed correctly the first time.

Because the best repair starts with finding the real problem.

Some of our favorite summer sounds are hammers on rooftops and fireworks lighting up the night sky.

Wishing you a safe, relaxing, and happy Fourth of July. Enjoy every moment! 🇺🇸🎇
