I was recently asked by my son to help with a project for his band director. He wanted to design and make a walking cane for him. I had never made one before and was happy to help. We made it happen in a short amount of time. I ordered the black walnut shaft because I don’t own a lathe. The handle is hand carved with Australian burl and clear resin. We also dropped music note confetti into the resin. Love how this project turned out. His band director loved it and uses it everyday at school
