A little gardening update for the week, most everything is toasted, roasted and baked. And yes, watering doesn’t seem to make anything better but the strong will prevail!

Only 30 days until fall!

I do have one plant that has done exceptionally well during the 2026 late summer heat wave. Give a round of applause 👏🏻 for the Starfish flower or Stapelia Gigantea if you want to be scientific.

This baby has bloomed in the greenhouse with temps pushing 117. She does not smell the greatest but is a really cool plant!

Like sands through the hour glass and so are the days of our lives, may we swim, grill, brag on our boston ferns and enjoy firework like blooms from our Crepe Myrtle’s this Independence Day.

Hello everyone!

Just checking in on all of our plant friends! Hang in there, water your plants and don’t forget to enjoy the shade with some sweet tea.

Unfortunately, the best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago but the next best time is today!

In an odd way, we are on the downward slope to fall. The summer solstice has passed so the days are getting ever so shorter, second by second.

Grow where you are planted and enjoy the beauty of life,
