Exciting progress is underway on the Corewell Health GME Residency Housing project.

This 6-story, 119-unit residential building will provide modern housing for medical residents and support the continued growth of healthcare services in Grand Rapids.

Mat foundation work is well underway - excavation is nearing completion, mud mat is largely in place, and reinforcing steel installation has begun.

The project is being delivered through a joint venture between The Christman Company and Spesh Construction, with strong collaboration across all teams on site.

Featured here is part of the Spesh team on site, including Project Engineer Adis Hasic, joined by Senior Superintendent Shawn Katip during a recent site visit.

Looking forward to the next phases as we continue building toward a Spring 2027 completion.

Proud to be part of the successful completion of the Corewell/Atlas Endoscopy ASC project.

This 12,611 SF single-story facility - featuring a steel frame structure, masonry and metal panel exterior, and fully equipped clinical spaces including an operating room and four procedure rooms - was delivered in just one year, from January 2025 to January 2026.

This project was delivered through a joint venture between The Christman Company and Spesh Construction, with key contributions from Chad Craddock (Senior Project Manager – TCC), Camden Montana (Project Engineer – TCC), and Shawn Katip (Senior Superintendent – Spesh Construction).

Great teamwork, coordination, and ex*****on brought this healthcare facility to life - another project we’re proud to stand behind.

Team Highlight: Adis Hasic, Project Engineer

Adis brings 18 years of experience in complex construction and mission-critical environments to Spesh Construction, where he serves as a Project Engineer. His background includes supporting programs valued at up to $400 million and managing a $3 million global data center portfolio across 25 Microsoft facilities. Earlier in his career, he worked in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor on U.S. government projects, leading field teams and strengthening quality control and project ex*****on on international assignments. Adis brings strong technical oversight and cross-team coordination to every project, helping keep stakeholders aligned from preconstruction through project closeout.
