Meet the Team Behind R Landscaping LLC!

Hey Northern Indiana! We are Dylan, Drake and Tim Risser. Together — with an awesome, hardworking crew — we own and operate R Landscaping LLC, right here in our hometown of Wakarusa, IN.

You’ve probably seen us around: in our trucks, on job sites, or operating some type of machinery - but today, I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce ourselves.

We all have our own paths on how we got to where we are today, but we all bring our own values to the table. The Power of Three.

Starting 10 years ago, amidst school and other work, Dylan and Drake on the weekends would go around to neighborhoods and trim shrubs for customers and do this almost all summer long for many years until the creation of R Landscaping. Although it may not have exactly been what a couple of young kids wanted to do on their summer vacations, they created a vision of owning their own business together one day. Then, this past year, after 39 years (Yes, 39!), Tim retired from UPS and joined his sons in the business. Talk about hard work and dedication.

Growing up on a farm, some of our fondest memories are working side by side – whether it was working with the 4H animals, picking up stones in an open field or spending time making trails in the woods. During these times we figured out how to not quit until the job is done, to take pride in doing things the right way when no one is watching and how to continually grow our deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Today, R Landscaping is a skilled local team taking on tough jobs with creativity, integrity, and hometown pride. While we still trim shrubs here and there, we have proudly expanded our services to:
