Allergies or something more? 🤧

This family had been battling what they thought were seasonal allergies for months. The whole house had ongoing runny noses, coughs, sneezing, and nasal congestion that just wouldn’t go away.

After beginning to suspect there may be something more going on inside the home, they gave us a call for an inspection.

Here’s what we found:

Multiple supply vents showed significant microbial growth and contamination. Further inspection revealed issues inside the vent boxes and ductwork as well. (Check those pictures out😩)

What’d we do?

The original duct system was removed and replaced, along with the affected vent boxes and grilles, and a UV light installed designed to kill mold, bacteria, and viruses inside the HVAC.

These photos are a reminder that not every indoor air quality problem is visible from across the room. If your family is experiencing persistent allergy like symptoms, unusual odors, excessive dust, or unexplained respiratory irritation, it may be worth taking a closer look at your HVAC system.
