I try something new every year. This year one of those was Asparagus (Yardlong) Beans from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. They look really cool on the trellis. I hope they taste as good as they look!

I was pretty excited about my harvest…until I got to the potato bag. That was just pitiful! Oh well. I’ll keep trying and I think I’ll actually try planting these little nuggets this fall and try again! I’m constantly learning and figuring it all out. Have you tried growing potatoes? What strategies worked for you?

We’re here at the Food Truck Frenzy at the “Old Page” site today. We’ll be here until 5pm. Lots of unique vendors and of course, yummy food trucks. Hope to see you!

I had planned to participate in the Town of West Point, Virginia Farmers Market, but with the smoke and temps tomorrow, we made the difficult decision to skip this week. But if you’re able, be sure to check it out! It’s a great market with amazing vendors!
