🤢 **YOUR AIR FILTER MIGHT BE COSTING YOU MORE THAN YOU THINK!**

Just cleaned this AC system, and look what made it past the air filter! 🐶 Dog hair, dirt, and buildup on the indoor evaporator coil.

The filter wasn't doing its job of capturing enough debris, leaving me to clean the coil and get the system back in better shape.

I really like the KAIWEETS KE2500. I’ve been using it for HVAC compressor testing and it makes diagnosing insulation issues a lot easier. The readings are clear, and having up to 2500V insulation testing gives me another level of troubleshooting beyond a standard multimeter.

Why did my evaporator coil get a leak?
It’s only 3 years old!

The evaporator coil developed a refrigerant leak even though the system is only three years old. The leak appears to have originated at a factory brazed joint. Over time, refrigerant pressure and normal system operation can expose a weak or improperly brazed connection and eventually cause it to leak.
I had just performed maintenance on the unit in February, and everything was operating normally at that time. Unfortunately, even a properly maintained system can experience an unexpected component failure.

This is why proper leak detection is important—we locate the actual source of the leak rather than guessing.

They left the manual inside! and the insulation was covering the motor. 5 years 2 different AC companies and nobody noticed it. $2200 to replace deep clean and restore the unit to normal operations 100%. HVAC mistakes can be prevented.
