“Тhe Wind Remember her”
Oil Over Mixed Media on Canvas
24" x 24"

In this painting, the wind is not a force but a witness. It moves gently through sun-washed background and quiet thoughts, carrying memories that refuse to disappear. The figure stands in a moment of inward listening—rooted in the Southwest, yet drifting through time, where strength is soft, and silence holds meaning.

Her calm is her strength, her silence - her song.
She carried the secret voice of the desert.
She doesn't listen to the word around her, but to the quiet pulse within, because she is the voice, the light, the power, and the beauty of the desert.

Oil painting reveal: "Wisper of Gold" from my Southwest Dream series
20"x20" oil and mixed media on canvas — painted here in Glendale, AZ

Her calm is her strength. She doesn't listen to the noise around her, just the quiet pulse within.

I wanted this piece to feel at home in a real living room — that's why I mocked it up over the fireplace and on the couch (yes, that's my neighbor's dachshund approving).

If you've been looking for original Southwest art with a feminine, quiet power, this one is available. I also offer prints.

Save this post for later, or share it with a friend decorating a desert home.

Oil painting reveal: "Echo of Silence" from my Southwest Dream series — 20x20 oil and mixed media on canvas, painted in my Glendale, Arizona studio.

Her calm is her strength. She listens to the quiet pulse of the desert, not the noise around her.

This piece is about feminine quiet power — layered turquoise, desert light, and a gold leaf halo I built up in thin glazes.

Save this for your desert color palette. Send it to someone who needs a reminder that silence is a song.

This painting is a combination of memories that have turned into experience.
Her name means Wisdom. She is alone - but not lonely, feminine - but strong, her spirit is young - but full of experience.
She reads the book of eternal memory, which is composed of sorrow, beauty and truth.
Behind her, in contrast, stands the tree of experience. It has blossomed in the past, but now what remains is the reflection of the power and wisdom that experience gives us.
The owl as a symbol of transformation and mystery represents our ability to see things differently and the transformation of ourselves.

The power of Eos is to bring the light of a new day, filling our lives with hope and illuminating the path ahead.

These two immortal horses carry the goddess Eos across the sky, driving away the darkness of night and preparing the way for her brother Helios, the god of the sun. Lampus and Phaethon are the powers that Eos possesses. Their names mean Shining and Radiant.

Four paintings, each connected to a goddess who lives within us.

Aphrodite embodies the power of love and beauty.
Amphitrite represents quiet strength and harmony.
Eos brings the light and hope of a new day.
Sophia carries the wisdom gained through experience.

Together, they form the Muses & Goddesses series—a reflection of the many strengths, dreams, and qualities we carry within ourselves.

Before I painted this piece, I already knew where it belonged.
I saw it clearly in my dreams hanging on the central wall of a spacious white hallway, opposite the front door.
Created to welcome every visitor and soul who enters this home, carrying with it the peace, beauty, love, and quiet power of Aphrodite.
Aphrodite is not only a goddess. She is an archetype that lives within each of us.
Aphrodite is not a distant mythology.
She lives wherever beauty touches the soul and wherever love transforms us.
Maybe that is why this painting felt familiar to me before it even existed.

What does Aphrodite awaken in you?

She was created to give love and beauty. A goddess born from the soft seafoam and the power of stormy waves, to give an image of the wisdom of the senses, the intelligence of the heart and the ability to transform ourselves into what attracts us. A symbol of the mystical beauty of the female spirit and wild grace. Shells are her armor, corals her jewelry, the sky her creator and the sea her soul.

Her image is not an instrument of vanity- she is a symbol of the power of thought and wisdom that creates harmony that feels like a sanctuary.
