Foundation work is in progress, and this stage is where the job is really won. Layout, rebar, coordination, timing, and making sure every pour lands exactly where it needs to. No shortcuts.

Excited to share that we’ve started working on a new industrial project with WMC.

Industrial construction is a different type of challenge compared to traditional commercial projects. It involves coordinating heavy equipment, complex mechanical and electrical systems, crane installations, and strict safety requirements to make sure everything operates efficiently.

At Mirai Constructions, we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of projects like this and continue expanding the type of work we do. It’s always great to see our team collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and partners to keep the project moving forward.

From small tenant improvements to large industrial projects, scaling the right way isn’t about chasing bigger contracts — it’s about building capacity first. Small commercial TIs teach the fundamentals that actually matter: budget discipline, tight scheduling, trade coordination, clean documentation, and fast problem-solving. If you can’t run a clean TI, industrial work will expose the gaps quickly.

The move into industrial brings heavier MEP coordination, structural complexity, longer procurement cycles, higher compliance standards, and significantly greater financial exposure. At Mirai Constructions, we built our foundation on commercial TIs and multi-family projects. Today, we’re managing active industrial work, and that transition works because our systems, estimating discipline, and subcontractor relationships were built years before the opportunity showed up.
