Nearly four centuries of history, thoughtfully carried forward.
Renovating a historic New England home requires a different level of care and craftsmanship. Dating back to the 1600s, this home has been shaped by generations, including a family deeply rooted in New England’s early shipbuilding industry. Local history even suggests that some of the home’s original timbers came from a merchant ship.

Our work focused on carefully executing the renovation while respecting the historic structure, from working around the home’s original timber framing to bringing the new cabinetry, millwork and finishes to life.

It’s a special kind of project when the work isn’t just about what’s being built today, but about preserving what has already stood for centuries.

Can you guess where the bed is hiding? 👀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Every inch counted when tasked our team with transforming this former garage into a pool house with all the comforts of a guest house.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hidden in plain sight, this custom Murphy bed was crafted by our in-house millwork team and seamlessly integrated into the built-in cabinetry in close coordination with our project manager and carpenter foreman. The result is a beautiful, space-saving solution that maximizes every square foot without compromising on craftsmanship or style.

Not every detail of a custom home is big.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This little boathouse and garden might be small, but they add so much charm to the property. A quiet spot by the water and one of our favorite finishing touches on this custom build on the Annisquam.
