Quick tip for anyone mowing their own lawn this time of year: don't cut it too short.

Nebraska summer heat will scorch a lawn fast if it's cut too low. Taller grass holds moisture better and shades out weeds. If you're not sure what height your mower's set at, that's probably why your lawn's struggling right now.

Mowing gets the lawn cut. Trimming and edging are what make it look finished.

Clean lines along the driveway, sidewalk, and flower beds are the difference between a yard that's just mowed and one that actually looks taken care of. That's the detail work we don't skip.
