⚡ Restoration Update ⚡

Jeremy is out in the community completing repairs and helping get homes safely restored. Unfortunately, many of the materials needed for the most common storm-related repairs are becoming extremely difficult to find right now.

In fact, Jeremy traveled all the way to Joliet to pick up the weather heads that were available — and at the time, that was the closest place he could find them.

Please know that we are still fully committed to helping our community through the restoration process. Jeremy can and will continue coming out to assess damage and provide estimates for anyone who needs electrical work.

We just ask for a little patience when it comes to scheduling the actual repairs. The timeframe for completing work is going to depend heavily on when Jeremy can get his hands on the necessary materials. He has been searching and sourcing what he can so that we can keep moving through repairs as quickly as possible.

If your home experienced storm damage to the electrical service weather head, riser mast, or meter box, you will need to have an electrician make repairs before your electric service can be restored by NIPSCO.

With the recent storms and outages in our area, Solid Wire Electric will be working through the weekend to assist with restoration efforts and help get our community back up and running.

Jeremy will be out helping customers with storm-related electrical issues and repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

If you’ve experienced electrical damage or need assistance, please reach out. We ask for a little patience as calls and messages may be heavier than usual — Jeremy will respond and get to everyone as quickly as he can. Please DO NOT reach out via messenger. We are out and about & trying to get to as many services as we can so any messages through our Facebook will not be looked at. We can better manage the influx of business if we are receiving direct contact via text or call.

Yesterday, we wrapped up a job for a client who had been told by another company that installing light fixtures on her garage just wasn’t possible. She was ready to give up on the idea—until she called Solid Wire.
