This photo gives a better perspective of the project we recently completed. The owl statue, next to the tree on the right side of the top photo, marked the back corner of the camp's original location. Since part of the camp sat just above the water, we relocated the building back and over to higher ground, helping protect it from future shoreline and water-related concerns.

Before, during, and after photos from the project, we’re currently wrapping up. We jacked and rolled the building away from the shoreline and relocated it onto a frost wall. Shoutout to our crew for all their hard work!

Earlier this year, we thought we might lose Gramp. But he made it clear he wasn’t ready to go—he fought his way back. As a family, we stood by him, helping him return to his normal routine, and along the way, we were blessed to hear some incredible stories from his life.

In April, we celebrated his 82nd birthday, and today, he decided he wanted to go on bids with us. After 47 years of doing it, he still genuinely enjoys going—and that says everything about his strength and spirit.
