FIRE FIGHTING
INCIDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
MAG Small Engine's Mobile Chainsaw Shop has provided fire fighting support and fire incident services to the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) since 2000. In Dad and Mom's backyard shop a small part-time business started to grow. We moved to downtown Garden City in 1997 where we have grown from a 1600 square fo
ot shop with 3 employees to 4800 square feet with about 10 employees. In 2002 we changed the scope of our business from a repair shop to a full retail business, selling engines, outdoor power equipment, and related parts. Lawnmowers, line trimmers, chainsaws, hedgers, blowers, generator, ATV's and other products are brought to MAG Small Engine for repair. Most sharpening is done for the customer on a "while-you-wait" basis. Exceptions are reel mowers and hedgers, which take longer. Quick service turnaround time has been a company goal for years, with special emphasis given to commercial cutters. We also do welding and parts fabrication. In the winter we repair all makes of snowmobiles and snow throwing equipment. We sell snowmobile aftermarket parts; Boss Seats, PPP Superlite pipes, and SLP. We also offer used equipment sales year round and support a boneyard for hard-to-find parts. Our mobile service can pick up and deliver equipment to and from our shop. Our mission, which is to provide quality service to our customers at a fair and reasonable price in an honest, friendly and respectful manner, is fully supported by both management and employees. We continue to stay current with all the new products and repair techniques. MAG Small Engine has an experienced cadre of technicians and parts specialists. Gene Blessing, the senior stockholder of the business has a wealth of knowledge about a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment. His advice is freely given to customers and employees alike. Come in to MAG Small Engine for all your outdoor power equipment needs where you will receive old-fashioned customer service!
