Look who I found wandering through my garden ❤️‍🔥

This little creature is called a *cow killer* , but don’t let the name fool you! 😂 It’s actually a type of *velvet ant* and despite its name, it’s not an ant at all. It’s a wingless female wasp! 🐝

The females don’t have wings, which is one reason they look so much like ants. Their bright colors are nature’s way of saying, “Please don’t bother me.”🚨

And there’s a reason to listen! These little ladies are known for having a very painful sting, so I admired this one from a safe distance. 👀😂

I love finding creatures like this in my garden. It’s a reminder that the garden isn’t just growing plants—it’s a whole little ecosystem full of life 🌿

Nature is always leaving me little surprises. 💚✨
